Tukad Bangkung Bridge

The Tukad Bangkung Plaga Bridge, located in Plaga Village, Petang District, Badung Regency, is the highest bridge in Southeast Asia. The highest pillar of the bridge stands 71.14 metres tall, while the foundation pillars are 41 metres underground. This bridge has a length of 360 metres and a width of 9.6 metres. Construction of the bridge began in 2001. Then, on April 28, 2007, President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono declared it operational. The bridge that connects the two hills is extremely stunning at this height. The Badung, Buleleng, and Bangli towns are linked by this bridge. The Tukad Bangkung Bridge is 6 kilometres shorter than the previous one.
